Global unified retail media platform Zitcha announces its first strategic hire in the United States, appointing Spencer Swaney as Account Executive, as the company prepares to open offices in the US.
Following continued international expansion and strong demand for its retail media solutions, Zitcha is accelerating its growth plans for the North American market. This strategic move comes as the company announced it has secured A$15 million (US$10 million) Series A funding, led by US investment firm VMG Partners, to accelerate growth in the booming North American retail media market and the move of CEO Troy Townsen to spearhead the company's presence in the region.

Spencer Swaney joins Zitcha with over a decade of experience in the media industry, most recently serving as Enterprise Director ANZ at Teads. During his tenure, Swaney played a pivotal role in launching and expanding Teads' operations across all major Australia and New Zealand markets, achieving 100%+ year-over-year revenue growth.
